"I Kissed A Girl" di Katy Perry è stato recentemente incoronato come il video più trasmesso da MTV Networks a livello globale agli MTV Video Play Awards.
E' stata svelata in questi giorni la lista dei video che hanno riempito i palinsesti di MTV in tutto il mondo, ed i primi 43 videoclip della classifica sono stati trasmessi complessivamente 403.974 volte a livello internazionale (senza considerare MTV US) da luglio a dicembre.
"I Kissed A Girl" è stato mandato in onda 21.863 volte, permettendo così a Katy Perry di ricevere un riconoscimento come l'artista più trasmessa da MTV in tutto il 2008.
Katy ha anche conquistato un Platinum Awards per "Hot'n'Cold" con 13.577 apparizioni sulle reti di Music Television.
Katy Perry dice: "I can't believe you watched me kiss a girl 21,863 times. Thanks MTV."
